Breast Cancer Family Registry

Our Mission

The vision of the Breast Cancer Family Registry is to realize the full potential of collaborative research involved breast cancer families to reduce the global impact of the disease.

Over 40,000 women and men from nearly 15,000 families from the United States, Canada, and Australia have dedicated their time to participate in the Breast Cancer Family Registry (BCFR). These families, and the time they give, make the Registry the unique resource that it is today.  Our BCFR resource has been used and continues to be used by breast cancer researchers around the world in order to find new ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer.
