The BCFR has contributed information on the data collected through our registry to the NCI Cancer Epidemiology Descriptive Cohort Database.
Specific to genomic and genome-wide association study (GWAS) data, we comply with NIH Genomic Data Sharing (GDS) Policy, and will submit any large-scale human genomic data (e.g., GWAS, SNP arrays, epigenomic) to the National Center for Biotechnology Information’s (NCBI) database of Genotypes and Phenotypes (dbGaP). Researchers can apply to access this data through the dbGAP website.
We also welcome collaborations with scientific researchers. To learn more about this process and the data and biospecimen resources available, please visit the Collaborations page.
